Thanksgiving aftermath

Published on November 28, 2007

It’s 11:35pm and I’m sitting here on my first overnight shift in two years. Definitely going to take some getting used to. Pretty laid back atmosphere. I see books, headphones, sleeping and some people working. I’ve worked on one job so far in my first 6 hours. I figure it […]

Things get better

Published on October 12, 2007

This has been a very interesting week.  As you will recall, I got canned last friday.  Couple that with my aborted acting class and I was kind of depressed.  Saturday morning I was in a pretty bad mood.  Here’s what’s happened since.
Saturday night we had Cimmet3 over for a muder mystery dinner. (Cimmet3 is my new […]

Last weekend was a weekend of eating

Published on October 6, 2007

Max and I went to the Vendies last weekend where they give out the award for the best street vendor in NYC. We got all you can eat from 5 great vendors. We really ate way too much but it was a lot of fun and will all be chronicled in a video […]

Still catching up on past events…
A very interesting week. Max and I had planned on going to Philly on Wed & Thurs to geocache and watch the Dodgers play. On Friday, the Wife and I were going down to Texas to visit with her ailing grandfather. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, her grandfather passed […]

Brian and Toni’s wedding

Published on July 20, 2007

What a great wedding. Completely nontraditional and perhaps the first wedding that was actually entertaining. It could not have been more different from Rob and Abby’s but both were so lovely and hearfelt and made me so happy for both couples.
The Wife and I were part of the ceremony. First off we […]

Thursday thru Sunday we were involved with Abby & Rob’s wedding weekend extravaganza. Monday thru Thursday we were in Yosemite. And Thursday thru Saturday we were in SF with […]

Dinner at the Dinosaur

Published on May 26, 2007

Max, Myra, Rob, Abby, the Wife and I ate at Dinosaur BBQ up in Harlem tonight.  Two words: food coma.  We had ribs, pork, sausage, deviled eggs, mac & cheese, beans, shrimp, wings, fried green tomatoes, simmered greens, corn bread, salt potatoes and three kinds of pie.  I also had a Donkey Punch.
By the time […]

Birthdays, bicycles and…clams?

Published on May 25, 2007

It was the wife’s birthday last week.

We celebrated with a quiet night at home. I made one of her favorite dishes, fish in lettuce.

And Sunday she had her 100 mile bike ride on Long Island. Pretty amazing. She also raised a ton of money for charity. What do you […]
